One of the first things I do daily is write in my journal. I list the things I'm grateful for, 3 things I want to accomplish for the day, and affirmations. This is the best way to start the day. I expect good, kindness, and love in my life.

Do it! It's easier if you write close to first thing in the morning. I have a rule for myself (that I sometimes break) is no checking my phone before I do my morning pages in my journal. There's a great series of books called "The Miracle Morning." Writing or "scribing" is one of the six things to do first thing in the morning.
