If you weren't selling for SBD only you'd probably have been fully funded a while ago. $1.70 for a coin that's supposedly pegged to the Dollar is just unacceptable...

The post and the last post explain why the last will only be sold in sbd. Anything other then that unless BTC go's back up and bitusd gains back more value we can no longer offer them for bitusd.
If you want 1$ per Zapple, you could put a 5% premium or even 10% on bitUSD and it would still be cheaper than SBD.
Unless the price is supposed to be in the area of 1.70$/Zapple, which is fine. But volatility alone is no reason to force people through an overpriced asset. But that is just my view of things. You'll get funded, so congratz on that :)
The asset was originally 1:1 sbd on launch of the crowd sale people also wanted a 1:1 bitusd so we did that as well. We knew sbd was over 1.50 at the time but we can't just drop 42,000 sbd on the market it wouldn't work so we have to sell it as the project go's on and sbd like btc has been doing can drop in value. So the #1 priority in our eyes is to have enough rather then being caught with our pants down and having to ask for more.
So because of the volatility in the markets and costs of exchanging crypto at this time we have to do sbd pair. I know some people have been selling for bitusd but those are community people trying to make 10% profit which some have used to buy the sbd pair.
But yes we are very thankful for the people who have continued to buy even though it is now only zappl_sbd pair.
SBD isnt safe from volatility either. Actually, if it does what it is made to do, which is pegging the US dollar, it is looking at a 40% loss. Holding on to it, at this level, makes no sense from a financial point of view.
So please, for the very reasons you state, at least consider to diversify your development funds into other currencies. Unless of course I am completely wrong in my understanding of SBD. Simply ignore the above in such case ;)
Yes that is the plan
