I have not used bot before and not thinking of doing that.

Most minnows who use it ends up complaining for not getting a value for what they paid for. Unknown to them, they don't know having a good reputation matters too.

Let me give an instance.
A minnow - with reputation (35) who paid for a bot and got upvote of $12, in 7 days the total earning by end up on $13 or even reduce depending on the stability of the market.
Disadvantage- Even if he put out a quality content, he will not get upvote from whales and other minnow because of low reputation.

A whale - with reputation 67 or 70 and well known, who do thesame. A whale is stands to be favored so gets more upvote from the bot. Assuming he gets $40 upvote, in 24 hour the post will appear on trending post because he got extra votes from whales and minnows who refused to vote their fellow minnow because they are looking for favor. The post ends up making over $200 in 7 days.

Bidbots doesn't favour minnow with low reputation. So no need to use it

Thank you so much for your input my friend.

You’ve shared some useful information for some Steemians here.

My main point is

  1. Always give something for your Followers
  2. Show respect and love for your followers
  3. When you use bitbots you’ll loosing trust of your followers
  4. Anyone who engage in bidbot upvoted post should be shamed
  5. Some people want to get rich in 7 days and let them loose big and learn thier lessons

Very strong points. The number 5 has always been the issue with people. They just want to get money the very moment they get approved on steemit.
