If you're not sure just how to use bitshares:
Easy way of doing it is making an account at https://openledger.io/
Make sure your header of the site looks like this:
If your header don't say switch to advanced then you need to click switch to basic
You will then get a page that looks like this:
You find your wallet for the currency you want to use and deposit to that.
Then use https://blocktrades.us/ to buy SBD and send to your account.
Or you just send SBD to your account if you already have it.

Hey So i checked my zappl on bitshares openledger and it just says unknown balance now, it was like up to ovr 100 bitshares before, it was way up, i have 14.7 zapples but look
anyone know what happened? its been like this for a few days since i checked, it used to just show how many bitshares i had, man i wish i had bought more stufflike build team tokens etc, i spent like $14 bucks on these zappl tokens, and at one point when bitshares was at its highest i had like $100 so zapl had been a great investment , so i hope bitshares goes back up! When bitshares goes up, everything the dex goes up too ?
I can see Openledger and bitshares becoming SUPER popular as people realize that poloniex is a joke when they ask you for private information etc, and an open decentralized exchange allows everyone to participate with no "withdrawal fees" even bittrex makes me mad, i know its not as bad as poloniex, but any withdrawal limits are a red flag...u should never allow people to make more of a deposit than they can take out! having private exchanges where none can inspect liquidity is just so against the idea of crypto currencies
im VERY excited for the Atomic Swap ideas for REAL next gen exchanges where people do manual FREE exchanges and it will ALL be decentralized
ALL markets will be decentralized and 24/7! Stocks for examples, look at our antiquated stock markets, only open for a few hours in the day, when they should be open 24/7 just like cryptomarkets! And people will be trading company sticks in a crypto currency form so that stock trading become much more interesting!
