Zwift has been around for a few years, I however have lived under a rock because I didn't hear about Zwift till recently.

I really like games and when fitness or healthy living is gamified 9 times out of 10 it is always great. Once I heard about Zwift I was instantly interested. Im not big on cycling but luckily Zwift does running and that is what grabbed my interest. I watched a couple of videos on Zwift and within days I ordered A Zwift foot pod. This little device tracks your cadence when running on treadmills and for me it has been very accurate.

Winter in the Uk has been quite bad too cold and wet for running for me at least and although treadmills are accessible to me at the local gym I never really enjoyed treadmill running. Being indoors sweating was a big no-no for me and also I always felt that I felt that I didn't push myself on the treadmills as you typically don't feel the aches you get compared to outdoor running. With that being said once I started using Zwift I have been enjoying treadmills more, sure nothing beats the outdoors but getting used to running on a belt and also getting more comfortable instead of fearing you gonna slip off does help.

With Zwift you can run or cycle in cities and places around the world and even a place called Watopia which is A Zwift-created island.

I have done 2 runs on Zwift so far and I would have done more but the weather got out mild and so I opted for outdoor runs. I enjoyed running in London virtually it was nice to run somewhere virtual where I have at some point been there irl before.

If I become rich I will definitely invest in and indoor bike trainer and fitness stuff but for now it's very, very far down the list.

If you are A Zwift runner or cyclist comment below, and I will happily send you a follow :)

My first time hearing about zwift. I'm lazy with exercises and gaming.

But this seems cool though 👍

Zwift is fantastic both for cycling and Running, i do both during the winter on there. Brings a little game to the training :) You can do trainings and workout plans on there. I can only recommend it :)

Okayy. That's good to know.

Thank you
