Police probing deaths of four in New Mexico home as murder-suicide

Police in New Mexico are exploring the Christmas Day shooting passings of four relatives in a rural Albuquerque home as a triple homicide and suicide, specialists said on Thursday.

Rio Rancho police were called to the home late on Wednesday evening by a family member, police Captain Andrew Rodriguez said.

He said each of the four individuals seemed to have kicked the bucket from discharges terminated inside the home in the Northern Meadows subdivision of Rio Rancho, a medium sized city that falsehoods only north of Albuquerque.

The four were distinguished as Carlos Velasquez, 50; Marilyn Velasquez, 45; Roberto Velasquez, 22; and Adrian Velasquez, 14. Their exact connections were not revealed.

"We have not figured out who the shooter is as of now, however no others are suspected as being included," Rodriguez told Reuters by phone. "Nobody else was harmed. The perished were the main inhabitants of the home."

A family member, recognized by neighborhood TV channel KRQE-TV as Rose Varona, said the group of four all inhabited the house and they were up late celebrating on Christmas Eve.
