Two Indonesian cops have been captured regarding an acid attack on a senior agent with the Corruption Eradication Commission that left him mostly blinded, police said on Friday.
The specialist, Novel Baswedan, has said he accepts the attack, while he was strolling home from a mosque in April 2017, was associated with unite cases he was taking care of at the time.
In January, police shaped a reality discovering group to explore the attack, yet came up with next to nothing. President Joko Widodo requested that another police boss, selected in November, explain the case before the year's over.
In a meeting with Reuters this month, Baswedan scrutinized the administration's dedication.
"It's anything but difficult to fathom my case," he said. "It's simply the matter of whether they need to or not."
Listyo Sigit Prabowo, leader of the police criminal examinations office, told columnists the suspects, captured on Thursday, were "dynamic police officers".
