Just a quick shitpost to show you what I was printing on a Anycubic Chiron. The dimensions on that are 350mm x 350mm on the corners. Printed at 120mm/s at 230c using 0.30mm layer lines, gave it a really cool sheen like an explosion going off in a manga or something. Also to anyone being like "OMG Anonymous" please go do your research, that is a Guy Fawkes silhouette. Stands for different things of sorts when you do the research into the history who of the guy is, not that I condone what he attempted.. But at the end of the day gotta respect the balls on a guy willing to take a crack at a corrupt government, as we all should, so long as no one is harmed in doing so.
Here it is on the slicer. Kinda neat how a person can take a design in 3D space digitally and convert it to a real 3D object in reality.. Decentralized manufacturing is where it is at. If you are on the fence about getting into 3D printing.. Just do it. Thank me later, it's an awesome hobby that allows so much shit you'd otherwise not have to be in your life. anyways, thanks for reading my shitpost!

On one hand, everybody today thinks they would have been abolitionists in 1850 despite what we know of racial believes in both the north and the south at that time, and we just saw a significant portion of the population turn their brains off to do as they were told for over 2 decades of war and then the COVID panic. On the other hand, since I am outside both mainstream movements in society today, I think it's justifiable to argue I would have been similarly apart from the protestant/papist arguments then.
The outcasts are generally the ones that know what's up..

You're right about just getting the printer. I just let a friend borrow my printer to push him over the fence. He bought me a roll of filament a few months ago so I could print him some things. I printed a few little projects for him, but I figure if he plays with it for a while he'd just decide to get one for himself. It worked, he's now trying to decide what to buy.
Is how I started too. A friend had given me a goo printer and I was hooked after that..

Ender 3 is great for most sane sized stuff. You can get refurbed ones for just over $100 USD. I have a factory return Ender 3 Neo V2 that dad and I fixed in a few hours and now is my main fine print printer. Amazing tech for the cost.
I've been printing some stuff lately. I don't have anything fancy, just an ender3 pro but it seems to do the job. I have been eyeing a resin printer though. Depending on the model, build size or money won't let me pull the trigger.
Resin is neat for miniatures and stuff..! But you cannot do it in an enclosed space.. it WILL poison your ass quickly. Some off gas worse than others.. but yeah, You need good ventilation or a garage to run that bullshit in.

If I could download a car, I would. It will be a while yet, I think, but I am confident it will actually happen. The first 3D printed spaceship has already launched off Earth, and I expect that to be possible to download too.
The sky is not the actual limit anymore. Most people just have no idea, nor realize that they will need to, if we're going to survive. I hope we do. I like people, in theory. We're like the coolest organism going so far.
