We made it through another (two) HFs!

Looks like we're having Hard Fork season (hopefully it's over though). The norm was one per year, now we've had 3 in a week !

All kidding aside, following the anticipated H21, the blockchain froze (which happens when the blockchain auto-detects some critical issue and halts to prevent any processing of erroneous transactions) which lead to HF22, and then few days after the HF22 fix, another issue (two actually) lead the blockchain to freeze again.

After a lot of effort to identify the problems, a full fix was rolled out, and witnesses and nodes are still progressing on bringing things up to speed to the blockchain.

As of yesterday, the actifit experience resumed almost fully, whereby we started accepting new posts, actifit.io was back displaying proper data and our first voting round following the halt took place yesterday (more on voting rounds below).

For those still facing issues logging in via steemconnect, you can take the following step:

• go to https://beta.steemconnect.com/settings
• change the node to https://steemd.minnowsupportproject.org/ or https://anyx.io
• click save.

This should allow you to login and properly use steemconnect again.

Faster Actifit Voting Rounds!

We've been considering improving our rewards/voting cycles, and after a lot of consideration, we decided to make our voting rounds shorter, quicker, and more rewarding.

How would that work? our normal voting round was set to consume up to 20% of our VP (sometimes more). Due to all the drop in STEEM price, increase in post count and AFIT exchange queue this has been consuming sometimes more than 20%, reaching to 25%, and leading to waiting times up of more than 30 hours till next voting cycle.

Since the current situation is not an optimal experience, we decided to, instead of consuming 20%, we aim to consume 10% per voting round. This brings many benefits, including:

• Quicker rewards being sent out to users (you don't need to wait as long now to get rewarded)
• Higher rewards across, since as the VP is more consumed, less rewards are given. By maintaining our VP at the higher end, rewards will be higher.
• For the AFIT to STEEM exchange functionality, we adjusted the amount of processed exchanges so that it is 64 per every two rounds (it was 65, uneven) which following our simulations should yield approximately the same results as the prior approach yet better optimized. The top 25 AFITX holders remain priority during the voting rounds. The benefit is faster processing of exchanges, but also more chances for more posts to receive the exchange benefit, and for top AFITX holders more chances to get the priority exchange for daily posts.

We took the chance of the down time to activate this so that it has very minimal impact. We will be monitoring how it goes, and adjusting the voting cycle parameters to optimize it since it's very dynamic as you probably are aware.

Increased Actifitter Rewards

Actifit since day one had set 2 types of beneficiary rewards on actifit reports:

• 5% going to help fund the project
• 5% which gets sent back to delegators on a weekly basis.

In light of HF21, and the increase in curation rewards, and after careful consideration we decided to remove the 5% beneficiary actifit was taking per post so as to allow actifit content creators to gain slightly more rewards for their posts.
The 5% delegator share (beneficiary to actifit.pay) remains in place as it goes out to our project supporters.

We also implemented this change during the down time, and all new posts have this setting now by default.

AFIT Token Stats & STEEM Payouts

During last week, our actifitters and delegators piled up more tokens. To date, Actifit has distributed more than 47 Million AFIT tokens, to 52K+ token holders and 146K+ reported activity.

We also sent out today our weekly STEEM delegators share, which went out to 625 active delegators, with a total amount of 204.520 STEEM.

P.S.: STEEM amount includes both SP and STEEM rewards for delegators, whereby each delegator receives liquid STEEM as a total for both amounts.

A kind reminder to all actifitters: some versions of esteem app still cause issues when used to edit your reports, via removing essential info Actifit uses to identify proper reports. This prevents related reports from receiving rewards.
Until this issue is officially fixed via the esteem team, we advise that you use other Steem interfaces for editing, including our own actifit.io, steemit, busy or others.

The amount of delegated SP has a large influence over not only the daily/weekly delegation reward, but also on the amount of rewards the actifitter receives on daily reports, as it constitutes a key element in User Rank.

Which is why being an Actifit delegator now has more influence on your rewards, coupled with number of AFIT tokens and other factors highlighted before.

Delegators share a max cap of 100K AFIT tokens according to their delegation amount, and also earn a 5% beneficiary reward from actifit posts' beneficiary earnings.

We are appreciative of more delegations to be able to better award actifitters and support our project, so thank you for doing that !

When you are looking to increase your delegation, you need to use the new total amount as the delegation amount, and not only the increased amount. Otherwise only the new amount will be used, and the remaining amount will be undelegated.

I didn't get my afit token in steem engine from my wallet but in wallet history actifit.io sent to steem engine what happening with my tokens where is goes?
