It's been a while since using Actifit, but I got a good excuse for it when someone suggested to track my steps at work. It was a long day today, too - almost 11 hours - but not as long as the first one. For some reason my knees always feel sore after standing for long periods, and moving actually helps.
But even though it's a lot of standing, it's also a lot of moving; the activity count of 21,642 was the result of the whole day, which was pretty much just work.
Standing idle in an elevator for 10 seconds is one of those rare occasions during which I'm not doing anything.
You never think how much effort goes into getting a letter - a bunch of them - to the mail box. Respect for anyone who can keep doing this day after day (except perhaps weekends), year after year. I wouldn't be able to do that. But you know, those people largely are what keeps everything on track - and allows you to have Chinese rocks delivered right at your door just with the magic of a few clicks. Don't ask why Chinese rocks, it just came first thing in my mind, because my mentor wondered if one package from China had rocks, because it apparently felt like it would. Could be, who knows what stuff comes in all those little packages from China.
Now excuse me, but this will go without proof-reading, because I'd like to do something nice with my remaining hour before sleeping again and repeating the sam ol' thing again tomorrow. Luckily tomorrow will be easier, because there's no ads tomorrow - those thick-ass orange leaflets that I'm holding in the picture. Motherfuckers take so much space that you have to make additional logistical preparations: you gotta bundle them, and leave them for car drivers who drop them to grey boxes along the delivery route where you can pick them up. Hell of a better than going back and forth to the post delivery office. So yeah, it is efficient at least.
PS. Not sure why my face looks like that. Some might say that being grumpy is my default expression, but I'm blaming it on trying to make a goofy face – and not succeeding.
A nice activity count:)

I would expect double that for a postie!

Heh, delivery is actually the nice part, or at least will be when I can remember the route by memory.

Good gosh...this is massive. You certainly had a marathon day
Just a regular Wednesday really. Good thing is that Thursdays and Fridays are usually bit lighter when there are no ads - except that this Friday the "Crazy Market" is starting, that's what the staff have been talking with a frustration in their voice, lol.

Thank you to everyone who has delivered me one of the hundreds of useless Chinese junk products I've ordered :)
