Actifit calculates activity count, not steps, tho steps of course are a big part of that. For example even when using fitbit I could walk 100 steps but have 5000 activity count because I was chopping firewood for an hour. Hardly moved at all from one place but did a whole lot of activity :)
I was a sceptical about top activity counts too, but now not so much. I did 49K last week just basicaly working all day and walking a few hours. And I am far from the best shape. If someone runs a maratjon that's easy 50K right there even for the run of about 3-4 hours. I get sceptical hippo eyes when people get everyday 40-50 K because I can barely make it once a week. But again - there are people who are in much better shape. Also there are no point to post more than 10K activity. Rewards will not increase beyond 10K.

Yea, I know, haha. I had been drinking and apparently was in quite the mood. Ahhh, that makes sense. I didn't realize that's what we were tracking, but I also didn't do any research beforehand, haha. Good to know! Definitely appreciate the insight since I'm new. No promises I'll make the top char, but I guess you never know, haha
