I normally use actifit when doing sports, but this is without a doubt my favourite way of counting movement: doing nature trails!
And here in Madeira there are tons of them! This was a very easy one called Levada dos Balcões, where a couple of km through the beautiful Laurissilva forest leads to a viewpoint with a stunning view.
With the added bonus of very friendly fauna!
Hopefully, tomorrow the trails will be a lot longer... and with more great views and cool creatures!
That's a great step count in a beautiful area, and for me nature hikes are my favorite way of actifitting as well ;)
And this island is absolutely perfect for that. Tomorrow I hope to do a couple more!

In all my travels I never made it there but it sounds like a place I would have loved ;)
