아침부터 눈이 올 것 같더니, 조금 비만 내리다가 그쳤습니다. 이번 겨울도 눈의 좀 처럼 보기힘든 것 같습니다.
요즘 아침은 회사에서 찐 고구마와 커피, 일명 "고커"로 먹는 데, 회사 공짜 커피를 마시는데, 대부분의 젊은 사람들은 아침에도 스타벅스에 들러 커피를 사옵니다. 요즘은 App으로 미리 주문을 할 수 있어서 그런지 더 많은 사람들이 아침부터 스타벅스를 마시는 것 같습니다.
저는 커피를 그냥 피곤하면 먹는 음료정도로 보는 편이라, 스타벅스는 독해서, 거의 여름에 아이스 커피 정도만 간혹 마시는 편인데, 여기 젊은 친구들은 아침부터 한잔사서 출근하고, 점심 후에는 반드시 들러서 커피를 사옵니다.
대충 하루에 마시는 커피값을 $10이라 치면 , 1년이면 커피값으로 $3500이 넘는 돈을 쓰는 건데, 뭐 개인의 씀씀이에 대해서 제가 머라고 할 수 있는 건 아니지만....
아무튼, 길거리 가게들이 사람이 줄어 많이 힘든데도 불구하고, 스타벅스에만 늘 사람이 바글바글한 것을 보면, 참 대단하다 싶기도하고, 한편으로는 뭔가 조금 아마존을 보는 듯한 그런 느낌입니다.
