The third year of growing potatoes in the past. Three varieties made it to the beds in this one. The early potato 'Finka' brought the largest yield .. Unfortunately, due to the early harvest, it is not very well stored, as they begin to germinate faster. Nevertheless, she'll find a place in bed again next year. The 'Setanta' variety also produced wonderfully large potatoes, but was partly heavily eaten by wireworms.
The 'earth gold' variety produced the smallest and also pierced potatoes. We will probably replace these two with other varieties next season and try again. Whether with straw, in the potato tower, classicly plucked or on accumulated soil. Rudi has already tried a few methods.
Although the last two have proven to be the best so far. However, the small but fine difference was also noticeable here: the harvest was a lot easier when he placed the potatoes on already accumulated soil. This made the floor a lot more loose.
Wow,those looks yummy. Here in my country we really love potatoes, although it's getting really expensive at the moment but it does really taste good
