The advance in robotic intelligence can be viewed as a good thing for the disabled who might need extra help around the house giving a semblance of independence to those in need but at the same time it spells disaster for workers in factories and even supermarkets as automated tills and robots to manufacture parts etc will take jobs leaving more and more unemployed. That in turn causes a strain on finances and the economy will suffer.
