Yes, Zac, that was exactly what I have done and what I will do today - I'm somehow tired of a week off work and tomorrow will be quite busy I believe.
Such a week without the daily routine in the office is really stressful and now I know how easy my work actually is

Yes, it is always a relief to be back in the normal routine.
We become work alcoholics and then when we retire, the first few weeks we are like a guy in a boat without a paddle 🤣
Then we slowly become used to the new freedom and we wouldn't change it for anything 😉

Oh yes, I know exactly what you mean, but I hate daily routines.
I rather wait every day to see what it brings, except for appointed meetings, which I also don't like.
Tomorrow for instance, I am called to go and pray for a great guy and his family at one of our partner charities. The staff is in a terrible condition as the guy was well loved and Marian will do counseling with them. The guy passed away yesterday morning from Covid and his wife also has Covid.
Then after that we musy go to have a look a look at a new cottage that came on sale and in the afternoon we are out to look at a used Yellow wood and Imbuya wood table that we need for the dining room.
No doubt in between all of this we expect other calls to come in for charity assistance.
So no day is the same and each day brings its own challenges.
That's what I enjoy. The challenges.

I need a kind of routine, I need to know how about the day will go. Little changes are no problem, but I don't like it when smething planned doesn't go as planned. It's different when I say there's no plan and I take it as it comes, like I did the other day. But I do prefer a more or less straight line when it comes to spend the day...
Good luck with the cottage and for the search for the dining room table.
That's what I often don't get: you're so busy and you still manage to calm down and take a relaxed walk and photos - that's cool, Zac.
