Here's my input, City-States. To hell with Nation-States. I don't see a need to reinvent the wheel. I'm against the modern nation-state and nationalism, both of which are relatively new on the scene. The peace of Westphalia and the French Revolution responsible for both. Nations are too centralized. The Tenth Amendment to the US Constitution is probably the most important of them all but has been null and void since 1865. Centralization is tyranny. Who contributed more to the uplifting of humanity, the city-states of Athens, Rome, and Venice, or all of the modern nation states combined?
