Felting their fur is a lot more profitable. Brush them daily with a rubber brush, gather fur, either process into thread or sell as is, can be part of a mix. Felting fur sells for an insane amount on specialty craft sites like Etsy, far more than meat or hides. If you put a picture of the rabbit up it will fetch even more. I recently acquired a rabbit to be used for the same purpose. If you try it let me know how it goes for you with your breed of rabbits.
Actually, they are for all of the above.
While we have them, they will be wonderful pets.
Then, if we need food, we will eat them, if we need money, we will sell them.
If we eat them, I plan on tanning the hides and using the fur.
