So much for my Saturday.
My wife and Ms 9 responded to an urgent request from our neighbour for company on a mini beach holiday this weekend, so I have been left holding the baby ... dog. Puppy. You know what I mean. Anyway, I'm dad to an infant again - but this one is hairy and has four legs. And boy, can he run. And chew. And create his own brand of chaos.
So as you may have guessed, Hurricane Merlin struck our house (again) today.
And between looking after him (three walks and two visits to the dog park), shopping (both grocery and going into the city to buy some good walking shoes so I can walk him) and washing all his bed stuff, I'm knackered (an Australian term for being really really tired - amongst other things. Hint: don't use this term in polite company!).
But I finally made it through to Bourbon - sorry, I mean dinner - time, I'm sitting down catching up on Steemit and maybe I'll watch some Netflix, or maybe I'll put on a movie on.
And Merlin is enjoying the feeling of freshly washed linen.
Despite the stress of it all, life's pretty awesome.
Don't know what I'm complaining about really.
