(And it's a BIG one!)
Sometimes I like to leave thing laying around. Snakes like to hide beneath these things. I'm not really "attracting" snakes to any particular area, just giving them a place to pause so that I can locate them later for removal. This was one such snake, and it was a pretty good size too. I should have a more in depth video about it later, but I wanted to show off some photos for now. "Enjoy!"

LOL - Hilarious!
Hello, my old friend. It appears you are still doing great, good for you. I sold my house with the large fruit gardens, and moved to a condo so we could travel the world. Will be in Spain and Italy soon. Keep up the great work. my central site under about tab shows my active platforms

Very cool! Thanks so much for stopping by! I started publishing some of the books I'd had on the shelf for a few years now, and you were part of the inspiration behind that!
Wow! I've heard of the Copperheads from a friend in the US. Seems their fangs are also at the top similar to our Green and Black Mamba's in South Africa. Very poisonous snakes that can kill a human in minutes.
You obviously know how to handle the Copperheads.
Great post here!
Blessings!
We have those all over North Carolina, too. Be safe!

Whoa! That is pretty early in the season for that sort of terror haha. We have found our share, and it is always a shock for us. Luckily these things are like pets to you haha. Be well.
They are beauty marked snakes. Not unlike the camouflage the military uses. They probably coppied fron these guys.
Wow! Even though i think a copperhead's coloration is one of the most beautiful in the snake kingdom, i would never be so bold! Great action photo content with ur eye in its jaws!

Interestingly, I just had a conversation with someone about copperheads yesterday, and he said that when aggravated, they give off a scent similar to cucumbers.
Was that your experience as well?
