“Bahay na bato” are houses built during the Spanish Colonization of the Philippines. It is an upgraded version of the Bahay kubo(Nipa hut). It was designed to address the countries problem caused by natural calamities such as earthquakes and typhoons.
Today, people commonly called this Ancestral houses.
