My obsession for tea and otters had to find a crossroads; a melding point. So of course, the dream of the two came together.
I can't decide if I'm the Otter in my lovely warm bath of that intoxicating elixer. Or am I happily coming upon the jollity of a furry visitor at my tea party. Maybe I'm the teapot itself, floating in the zen-like state of being knowing I am holding my two joys in one?
Most like when I created this I was simply too full of one and had spent far too long googling cute videos of the other, but let's stick with the 'zen' answer, it sounds much more blog worthy.
I do have a love of the the little buggers, otters I mean. Here are two more I have shared with you.
Now, I wouldn't say this is an unhealthy obsession, unless I were to literally bake up otters into pies and grind them into teas and coffees. One never knows with the 'artists' temperament. For now, I'll happily drink the one and draw and admire the other.
I made this little fellow with a sketch first, then scanned and using digital oil pastels and ink.
I hope you like my little fellow. May your day be filled with lots of delicious hot brew and maybe an occasional furry friend surprising you from surprising places.
Love love your otters :))) Could eat them how sweet they are..
Thank you, otter pie anyone?

What a cute little otter! I love your choice of colors to fill out his/her fuzziness. Adorable!!
Thank you kindly, you definitely could say I am a lover of colour.
I hate the tea! I love the drawing! :)
Well, maybe your otter should be in coffee:) Don't worry I did that too:
Oh my, he is just too cute! Having fun in his little tea pot party for one ^_^
Thank you, there is just something about the otter that lends itself to the whimsey of the world that I sometimes like to capture.
