My fellow Steemians, I'm an amateur art lover, and a humble abstract painter myself. There's been an impressive growth in talent on Steemit as the platform is maturing. I was thinking about creating an artists guild for a while, where all kinds of visual artists can get together to share their works, guides, contests and thoughts.
Without further ado, I present to you...
SAG, the Steem Artists Guild
Where all forms of visual art are welcome:
- Caricature
- Comics
- Doodling
- Digital
- Painting
- Photography
- Sculpture
- Etc...
Nude art is allowed, no pornography.
Plagiarists don't bother.
The project is young, a lot of work ahead. We'll need an original logo, bots, admins, moderators, plagiarism screeners, and patrons who can support with SP delegation. If you would like to contribute in any ways, your help will be most appreciated.

This is quite interesting, I pretty much do a little bit of everything in graphic design, ranging from drawing to animation. I'll have to make a discord so I can start getting involved with you guys. :)

I will try not to be confused. My union is the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), which recently joined with the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) to form SAG/AFTRA, but often still just gets called SAG.
But I will try to be logical, and know when each is relevant.
lol, perhaps we need to come up with a better name/acronym. I'm open to suggestions.
Maybe just Visual Art Steem Entrepreneurs? VASE?
Visual Arts Community, VAC? We can brainstorm that on Discord when there's a lot of people joining :)

Yes. I saw that. I dont think I would finish it on time but will see what I did in past wha would suit. My usual pieces take from few days to few weeks of work to complete
You can always grab a naked figurine and dress her up as a pirate, put a sword in her hand, wrap her with a loincloth. Quick and dirty but it works :)

If you need a mod I'll help, I usually avoid moderating but I will help out in what ever position you think I'll fit...plus I'll enter contests too...I usually avoid contest toooo lololol

Good excuse as any to join a chat room, I've avoided this type of interaction for almost a year, my one year Steemit bd is sept 9th...it's time to give back to the platform.
