Since couple of days ago i published my very first drawing of a Tiger, i wanted to show something which is just as important as that one.
I still remember everything very well, since these both works including this one two, were like a big step for me, which opened an opportunity to express myself with charcoal and with those large size drawings.
So after i did that Tiger which i posted 4 days ago, i made a drawing of a Lion. This one. Those who saw the Tiger work, can see that i have also 2 photos of that one too, and also in one photo is is on a wall, on the same wall actually. It was just about 2 days when i started this Lion work, right after the Tiger. That is why Lions and Tigers are very often featured in my works. I started with them, and i can not explain myself why t is so, because they are not the easiest animals to draw for sure. I just really love the fur details, both when i need to draw a Tiger, where i have to make details as small as i can,but short, and when i need to draw a Lion, where everything is opposite, and the fur is long.
Although this work i did around 5 years, ago, i think it is actually one o my greatest Lion drawings ever. I learned a lot from this work, and emotionally this drawing is more than a picture. It has a powerful meaning and had an impact on my future style and drawings which lead me to the style have now.
I also have an Ebay where it is possible to purchase some of my original drawings:
I included a link to my verification post, that all of the drawings posted here are done by me: https://steemit.com/art/@edgarsart/edgarsart-original-art-now-verified

Thank you:) Just followed you too:)
I like how much depth the work has and how the whites pop out!
Do you use paper this white or do you use actual whites where necessary? I heard this can be a good way to achieve more depth with charcoal, but I don't use this technique myself.
Thank you:) Started following you:) I have a very unique technique drawing with charcoal. In th end of every work i work with an eraser for about 10 hours to achieve those highlights.
Wow, 10 hours! Well, it does pay off in the end. I'll see if I can do something nice in digital post with the image if I have the time! (of course won't post without permission)
You are amazing.
Thanks so much:)
