Woah, this is really trippy! I love the surreal tone of your artwork, the black and white fit the setting like a glove, thanks for sharing!

Thanks! I'm glad you like the pictures! And thank you for choosing to feature me in the Curie Author Showcase. That is wonderful!
For the brief statement:
A good friend of mine turned me on to the world of UFOs, alternate realities, and expanded consciousness a few years ago. There's so much more to the world than what we can see, hear, and touch. Some people speculate that the UFO phenomenon isn't really about spacecraft, but rather , the expansion of the mind itself into other dimensions. I find that fascinating.
The story in pictures isn't just about an abduction. It starts off with naive innocence, but then takes a darker turn. But the darkness isn't evil. It's the boy, confronting the darkness within himself. One of the aliens opens up his mouth, to reveal a universe within. The boy falls into that universe, letting go of his own ego, symbolized by the sword and the severed head (think Kali, the Hindu god). The boy thus becomes at one with the greater whole.
I drew this for my dear friend, who introduced me to these ideas. My dear friend has been sick for a couple of years now. I gave these drawings to him to show him how important he is to me.
That's it! Thank you!
