Today I would like to share with you the Chinese painting - Chinese Cabbage.
Chinses cabbage is the most common vegetable in life and we often see it at table, with a cheap price and good nutrition. It's superdelicious, whether it's cold and dressed with sauce and was fried , or was used to make sauerkraut and pickles. I like to separate leaves from stalk of Chinese cabbage to cook them respectively, and I also like to use it to make dumplings.
And China is the first country to plant Chinese Cabbage, and has the history of several thousand years.
In Han dynasty, people called it "song" as it can grow on cold days and still is evergreen like pine tree. And in Yuan dynasty, people called it "Baicai" in Chinses due to its white color. And "baicai" shares a similar pronunciation with the "wealth" in Chinese, so has a good meaning. And it is pretty popular with many people.

白菜是生活中最寻常不过的蔬菜，平时餐桌上经常会看到它，物美价廉、脆嫩爽口，又有营养。无论是凉拌、清炒，还是用它做的酸菜或者泡菜，都超级美味。
而我国是最早开始种植白菜的国家，已经有几千年的历史了。
在古代人们称它为“菘”，人们认为它就像青松一样。不惧严寒，冬季依然翠绿，故曰”菘“。而后来到了元朝时期，人们见它一身清白，又俗称为”白菜“ 这也象征那些一身清白人士。而白菜又和”百财“是谐音，这么多美好的寓意，所以无论是在绘画还是在雕刻等其他艺术中它都是最受欢迎的。
Material 工具：
Chinese brushes 毛笔 3 只
Chinese painting color :
Xuan Paper (raw) 生宣纸
Chinese ink 墨汁
Small tray for washing brushes 笔洗
The Process:
1、先用一只毛笔调淡墨勾画白菜帮。
2、然后再用侧峰画出它的叶子。
3、待叶子半干时勾画白菜叶的叶筋，并画出菜根。

我们东北的好多家庭，都要在秋天的时候买几百斤百菜，然后把它样俺成酸菜吃，可好吃了，馋了。。。。
