My Painting: Narcissus 水仙

I had intended to have a good sleep at weekend, but I awoke to the sound of the outside, a man's voice, who I don't even know him, though I had heard him speak many times at the same time. So I got up, you know, as long as you wake up in the morning, it's very hard to fall asleep, and then I made a painting--narcissus.

I like to paint traditional Chinese painting because it differ from other kind of painting,such as pencil sketch, oil painting,which were modified by many times, but the traditional Chinese painting will not. Befor you start to draw, you must have an impression in your mind. It can train your judgment and outline the content you want to express, and refine it.

Speaking of the narcissus, I think of the poem --“I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud” was written by William Wordsworth, now share with you together.

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed --- and gazed --- but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:

In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye

本来周末想睡个好觉，可是窗户开着，楼下路过的行人说话听的一清二楚。这是一个非常熟悉的声音，因为同一时间我至少听到过很多次他说话的声音，虽然从未见过此人。貌似他和他的同伴边走边聊在上班的路上，又或者是下班的路上。
醒了就睡不着了，起来画幅水仙吧。
水上仙子，根如大蒜，叶如青葱，花如白玉，冬天开放，亭亭玉立，气质脱俗。所以在国画里历来被画家所重视，像竹子一样，有的人一生就画水仙，它能很好的锻炼你的笔墨基础。

我喜欢画国画写意是因为它和其他画种不一样，素描油画等可以随时修改，国画则落笔成形，不能更改。它能很好的锻炼你的判断能力，胆大细心，简单明了的概况你要表现的内容，提炼精华。
