No internet?
Staying in a rural location can have its challenges, especially when you are trying to blog with an unpredictable WiFi signal. I find myself having to sit in the strangest of locations to access the internet, much to the amusement of those around me. In fact writing this post involved me sitting in the garden, with my laptop against a fence, frequently losing signal.
The following poem and images are inspired by my WiFi struggles!
Desperately seeking WiFi
I think I lost it somewhere
It’s not beneath my tin foil hat
Or my silver lined underwear
To see if it was there
But all I got was ‘no signal’
And bird poop in my hair
Whilst stood in the middle of nowhere
But my internet wouldn’t load
So my pouting selfies I couldn’t share
And held my phone out to the sea
Maybe I could get a signal from a passing ship?
But all I got was a seagull mocking me.
Then flung my arm out over the edge
I was standing in warrior pose
Doing phone yoga on this concrete ledge
My hand held my phone out far
And then I tried hopping on one leg
… wait is that one bar?
Oh, it’s gone.
You silver lined underwear. LOL.

It's a nice side to be on!
Oh and the silver lined pants is to protect against EMF

Water is a better medium for signal transmission, so pissing all over your phone will do wonders. Plus, additional heat sources will "overclock" your transistors to enable better signal interpreting algorithms, so after you've pissed on it go ahead and set your phone on fire as well.

The things we will do for WiFi I feel you on this post, especially when your cell phone provider charges a arm and a leg for roaming data in another country. When you got something to post, a email to get, or to just check something is a hassle. If it were up to me I would have WiFi on all ends of the globe. I know you said your in a rural area but have you tried one of those Internet sticks??
Currently my data charges are ok because we are still part of the EU, not sure how things will change after Brexit.
You think the prices will go up after the Brexit??

The struggle is real. I once had no internet access for 3 weeks while i was staying in a remote area. Initial days without a Wifi are the most difficult. But then, suddenly life becomes interesting again with lots of other stuff to do
Whaaaaattt 3 weeks? Ok, I can see the benefits of that. I remember being in the Sahara and my phone started to ring, I thought i lose signal at the end of my village but get it in the middle of a desert?!!
It is incredible the price of the internet is becoming more expensive and the service is bad, I thought that this only happened here in my Argentine country.

I think it is in a lot of places- we have spots all over our village where you get no signal
My dad has a cabin in northern AZ and He is getting set up with wifi through satellite from what I understand. You should look into that. (blowing kisses)

Do you have silver lined clothing too?
No silver-lined clothing, but I do have some silver coins. The Euro, US Dollar, Japanese Yen, and probably, the British Pound may collapse in value in the near future, and silver and gold coins will probably retain value. I got most from Silver.com, but there are many online sources. I loved your last post especially, but I forgot to mention: keep your cell phone no closer than one inch from your body, especially when you are using it. Put it on speaker or use a Bluetooth. It's just coming out now that cell phones emit harmful radio frequency (RF) radiation when they are transmitting. This appears to be more fact than conspiracy theory. I'm trying to find RF shields to install in our phones.

Yes and it has made me appreciate good WiFi more.
We have dark holes of no wifi where I live too haha :)
Ahh the dark side of WiFi signals, like the dark side of the moon.
