Allow me to share a painting I made 2 days ago...
I personally love Cherry Blossom tree even though I haven't seen one in person...
I just love it so much! It's so beautiful...
So here, I'm sharing the process, as to how I made the painting...
The Process
First, let's make a rough sketch of the tree...
Next I outlined it using watercolor pencils... Actually, I thought of just using watercolor pencils for this since I don't have poster paints anymore... but then, in the latter part I changed my mind.. xD
As mentioned above, I changed my mind and decided to use my watercolor for this... I'm not very confident with it because I'm broke so I just bought the cheaper one.. lol
Done with the base... It's time to play!!! One thing I love about painting is that we're free to do whatever we want... Mixing colors... Fun strokes... etc...
Continue playing and blending colors like red, pink, black, white and brown... <3 Of course, I also attached my signature.. ^^

Cherry Blossom and You
さくらとあなた
You resemble a cherry blossom tree
あなたはさくらみたい
You fill my heart with glee
私の心を幸せもった
Lovely petals carried by the breeze
美しい花びらを風に運ばれた
You put my heart at ease
私の心は気楽する
I'm not confident with my Japanese, and I'm still a long way to go... but I want to try and do my best at it! :D
I changed the title in the end.. lol... xD I can't write kanji.. so I usually rely on my Japanese keyboard... To my Japanese friends here, feel free to check the poem grammatically, too... I'll be happy for it! ありがとうございます！よろしくお願いします！
