I cant speak for political as i try to just ignore all the bs now. but i have alot of experience with qld enviromental legislation, mining and construction....and we have the most backwards legislation and thanks to what joeb elky wrote 40 years ago, qld effectively cant update anything and companys can just keep using 40 year old enviromental rules... ive been trying to ignore politics, whole system is so corrupt, polys get there 5% pay increase yearly...yet im makeing less an hour now than i was in 99, as a chef my hourly rate has reduced not relatively...my hourly rate is 2$ lower today as a mature experienced worker than it was in 99....yay for equality
