What is Backbiting in Islam

Backbiting means you're talking about someone in a negative way behind their back, which they don't like and the other hand if you say something untrue about a person which is you're talking about him then it's called slander. This is a harmful and a major sinful act in Islam so we should be aware of it.

Islam teaches us to avoid being backbiting about another person you should always show a good side to him. Be careful while conversing with others because most people made this big mistake while talking to others but they didn't know whether's the right way or wrong so that's why we need to get Islamic knowledge for this purpose.

The Prophet Muhammed(peace be upon him) said they are being punished if they do major sins. Allah's Messenger said, would anyone like to eat the flesh of his brother when he is dead, you detest it. Sometimes we speak behind their back because of anger or frustration and we act in the shape of backbiting, if you realize you do a mistake then try to stop it.

Shetan will try to trap you but if you do prayers then you avoid yourself from Shetan. Prayers and Duas change everything in a positive way. While speaking to others focus on your words that your saying about him, if your speak worst about other it will put you in a bed situation so be careful when opening your mouth.
