Another day, another dawn, down to the beach exploring natures abundant beauty.
Some days the beaches appear wider, cleaner, regular visits reveal new secrets flushed out of the sea onto the beach, no two days will ever being exactly the same with constant movement.

Ambling onto the beach, beach flowers spring into vision, a lovely silver/green leaf with cheerful little yellow flowers.
Experiencing winds the night previously the seas appeared rough, tides alter the appearance of the beach daily, wind direction brings a variety of shells or sea animals on shore.
Bluebottles or Portuguese man-o'-war (Physalia utriculus,) do sting, always watch out on the beaches or paddling/bathing in the sea after recent winds they normally appear, here are some to see the length of the sting that will wrap around your leg in water, not very pleasant either.
Leaf sap of the Natal dune vygie Carpobrotus dimidiatus; Nature comes to the rescue when stung by jelly fish or bluebottles on our beaches in KwaZulu-Natal.
A common flower on most beach sea dunes from the Eastern Cape into KwaZulu-Natal, nip the leaf which is a succulent and plump, it is a robust, (trailing plant with fleshy, green, three-sided leaves) smear over the sting, it has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties something to remember visiting our beaches.
When the seas are calmer, fishermen come throw a line in the hope of catching a fish or two on the day, leaving as the waves continue the melodious tune of rolling in and out onto the shore and off, it has been another share of our local beach with you, I really hope you enjoyed it.

Living on the coast meant a huge dive in earnings many years ago @rwedegis never regretted the move. Recharge whenever you are in the mood to go down to the beach.
I did that yesterday! It was definitely what I needed!
Sometimes it feels like you need a break, the beach beacons @rwedegis have been missing your posts of late.
Our internet connection has been giving problems in our area, the beach is most probably the best place to end up on, away from daily frustration.

I love the beach because I grew up close to it and it does not compare to another ecosystem. The sea is relaxing and the sound of the waves is relaxing.
We can hear the sound of the waves when the seas are rough, live a little too far from the beach to actually enjoy the sounds continuously @rocaxel

I grew up in a beach town, so the ocean is a part of me. It was always there a few blocks away, and I did not think too much about it. I had beach camps in the summer, hung out with friends there, and swam at anytime.
Now I live farther away and don't got over there as much, but I know it's there if I need it.
Once you move away you miss what you had on your doorstep, when we moved down we make sure to get to the beach and not allow it to be forgotten as many do when living in a town along the coast @bxlphabet

That looks so relaxing except for the jellyfish! I have always lived near the ocean except for a very few times in my life. This is one of those times and I really miss it. The beach is always one of my favourite go to places. I don't know what I would do if I weren't within driving distance from the ocean.
