This is pretty neat I like the closed hi-hat. In a perfect world, who would you want rapping on this beat?

Thank you very much bro @ehzi-dehve, it was a bit of an unorthodox approach this week. I am glad you liked this one. And In a perfect world, I wouldn't be mad if Tech N9ne blessed one of my beats. Oh mannnnn he has so much versatility and skill, and can bring to life any beat with any speed, rhythm tempo and tonality. Who would you want rapping on your beat??
Oh man, that would be ill! I can totally see his style working with this one. Did you look for an acapella? Might be able to lace it together for fun. If I still had a Serato setup I'd try making that happen :)
As for my entry, I think it would work best for somebody like Saul Williams or maybe Ishmael Butler AKA Palaceer Lazaro of Shabazz Palaces/ AKA ( Butterfly of Digable PLanets to do their thing to.
Lofty goal but shoot for the stars eh? Thanks for the feedback I appreciate it!
You're most welcome, and yeah Tech N9ne would tear up a lot of instrumentals for sure, I don't have an acapella in mind from one of his previous songs, but those artists you have just named, I don't recognize any of them. I'll give them a listen if and when I get the chance.
Saul Williams :
Digable Planets
Thank you for the links, much appreciated !
I like the classical intro from the Saul Williams, flow unorthodox, don't really feel the track but interesting to say the least.
The Digable Planets track, classic old school hip hop. nice vibes, a gem for sure :)
