The problem i see on my device is because of soundcloud, which player doesn't work in browser on my device.
Maybe it is not supposed to work, or maybe something is not right, but not sure if you can fix it.. i will take a look myself to it, later today, i put to work my web developer skills

But yeah, usually I find that the Soundcloud player works on Google Chrome web browser. Everyone else has been able to listen to it, perhaps you have access to a computer other than your device?

Oh man, that would be ill! I can totally see his style working with this one. Did you look for an acapella? Might be able to lace it together for fun. If I still had a Serato setup I'd try making that happen :)
As for my entry, I think it would work best for somebody like Saul Williams or maybe Ishmael Butler AKA Palaceer Lazaro of Shabazz Palaces/ AKA ( Butterfly of Digable PLanets to do their thing to.

@verbal-d this is good, you even manage to add some vocals to this which was a super bonus but I wasn't feeling that clap to this tune. I thought it didn't match to this vibe, it just wasn't strong enough. Maybe if it was a better clap, it wouldn't sounded better. I remember you telling me that you got a team to do your mixing so I understand why your mixes are not that leveled but this would of sounded a lot more leveled if it had a great mix to it. The mix is okay on this because the kick and the hi hats seem to sound too high on my speakers and the vocals could of been mixed in better too. I like the melody a lot, It makes me feel like I'm sitting underneath a tree on a sunny day and while underneath the tree that is providing me shade, I'm thinking about the pain inside of me and trying to fight my tears back but the melody is just saying to just let it go and just cry it out and as soon as I do that, some heavenly voice comes in (the vocals in the beat) is singing to me and putting their hand on my shoulder. I like this beat overall and I think it was a good instrumental post but I definitely thought it could of been better! Keep it up, in my opinion, this is the 1st instrumental beat I heard so far that matched the theme to @chiefmappster week 4 beat battle

I did all the mixing myself on this one. I know I have much to learn but I am glad I know enough to even present my ideas somewhat close to how I map out the high quality of the song within my mind. When my team helps me, it sounds crazy radio professional. And I completely agree with you, I often try my best to fit the theme, even last week I felt the same, yet I placed 4th, so this week I hope I hit top 3 since the other beats don't really seem to be customised to the theme, or maybe they are just some old beats thrown into this contest.
