Here we are in the last week of 2024! Another year has come and almost gone so it's a good time to list out my #myhivegoals for next year.
This might also get me into writing a series for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I keep see my buddy @bozz post and I like the idea and community around thew idea.
First, let's look at the progress I’ve made this year. It looks like Im curating at 8.35% and have made $5,030.89 in total since my account was made.
I have had fairly steady growth even though my post rewards have dipped slightly and I'm not as consistent as I want to be on my posting frequency.
However, I'm still please with what i have built in the years I've been here. I’m thinking next year I’m going to set my goal as 50k which seems like a long way off, but I think is obtainable if I work hard enough.
I’m doing a bit of powering down to see if I can take advantage of these price pumps. I would be doing this with an eye towards making money and growing my HP even higher and not cashing out. I’m not interested in taking profits from my HIVE holdings until HIVE gets above $5 so any and all trading gains will be compounded.
I will say I think one thing we need to remember it's not all about money. I appreciate all the conversations I've had with the many users. I'm always excited to see what the #silvergoldstackers #beersaturday communities are up to. I like talking with people @bozz @silversaver888 @silverd510 @summertooth @zekepickleman @detlev @niallon11 @tarazkp @steevc it these people that keep me coming back to post and engage.
My other goal is to try to write at least 3 times a week and comment 3-10 a day to expand my network and gain a larger following. After all this site is about creating and fostering community!

Hive above 5$ would be a dream, I see it more on 1$
Yes $5 is pretty lofty, but look at our ATH I think $1 is very realistic.
That could possibly happen, interesting to see what will people do there, buy or sell hbd?
Five dollars is a big amount, if it goes, it will be a pleasure to see

You've made a lot of money from Hive, congratulations. I wish Hive would be worth $5.
I am happy with it.
You have to find a balance on Hive so it stays fun. For most of us the current returns may not justify getting stressed over posting, but in the long run it could matter more. I post less than I used to and still do okay.

Thanks for the advice! I get that it needs to stay fun if it feels like a job I think I loose motivation. I know that kind of happened though the year a bit.
Having more people here would help. I know people give up when they get no engagement with their posts.
So true it's hard to see rewards go to accounts with no engagement too. I'm hoping 2025 comes with some more balance.
My voting is mainly manual and I comment a lot. I would hope that things like @commentrewarder encourage that.
It's important to just take it slow. I tried to do the posting seven days a week thing a long time ago and I was on the verge of burnout. Five days seems to be a good balance for me. If I have time on the weekend to get caught up I do, if I don't I don't. It's a good feeling. I was hoping to hit 100K by the end of this year, but that clearly isn't going to happen!
Wise words man! I enjoy writing when I have time to think. During the work week I struggle with my work demands. I think keeping it obtainable will help out with burn out. I also don't want to make it a chore so we will see how 2025 works out. I know you did not make it to 100k yet but your growth this year has been awesome to witness.
