Really bad news

The beginning of  a wildlife  for owl Mi-Mi-Mi and kestrel  Gonta is postponed for indefinite time... We received information about mass poisonings among  birds of prey. Apparently, farmers poison mice and rats and, as a result, predatory birds eat them and die.

Sort:

All though the looks of the owl is very scary, it is so sad that they died by eating poisoned rats by not knowing.
But you can't completely blame farmers for that. Yes it is true that owl, cat help us to get rid of unwanted animals like rat and others but the farmers also have to save there farms as they work so hard to grow and their families depends on that.

Unfortunately, for the sake of saving the harvest, farmers often do what is dangerous not only for birds, but for humans. For example, treat the fields with chemicals.

How sad, but if your friend, the farmers usually do that, this is a very beautiful bird with a nice look

So sorry for Mi mi mi and Gonta, but Noè they are safe and it's the most important thing. I hope their wildlife can be start in a safe way in the future. :)

I also hope so. At least they are safe now.

That's a great shame, and a pity that the farmers are using poisons to keep rats and mice under control. There are ways to control these pests without poison so of owls and raptor birds get them, they still won't die.

So what happens now? Do the birds have to live to the end of their lives with you?

We'll wait. I hope that the situation will change. They are not tame birds and we do not try to make them tame. But I want them to get used to that there is food for them. So they will not need to look for food and this will reduce the risk. We have experience when kestrels and crows, whom we treated, now come to us for food.

That stinks. Govt, should step in and do something.

Unfortunately I do not think it worries them:(
