in #bitcoin7 years ago

Pauly and I set out on the streets of Spokane, Washington to give their first taste of bitcoin (BCH of course!) This video is a highlight of the results.

Thanks to everyone that was willing to participate in the video and to all of y'all for your support in general.

Great initiate, go BCH.

LMFAO! Try tipping them with Core Bitcoin. It's only going to cost you $2-$50. I was checking the speeds and cost of a few coins today. Here are the results. FYI was using the new https://edgesecure.co/ wallet from Airbiz.

Dash was almost free (sub penny) Instant payment with 1st confirm in 2 min.

Bitcoin Cash was 1 penny. Instant payment confirms in 10 min.

Smart Cash Instant Confirm and 1/10th penny trans fees.

Core Bitcoin $2 trans fee with a random delay in payments. Confirms in 10 min. if you are lucky to have paid enough. High demand days takes hours.

Ethereum 30 cent trans fee with small delay in payment. 1st confirm in ~20-30 sec.

@smartbot tip 50

Σ$$$ Tipped @craigmason Σ50 SMART! Comment @smartbot help to claim. Currently the price of SmartCash in the market is $0.109 USD per SMART. Current value of the tip is $5.45 USD. To find out more about SmartCash, please visit https://smartcash.cc.

@craigmason would tip you with BCH too but... no bot here :-) You guys are awesome!

Thanks a lot! That's my first bit of smart cash. I've researched it before, but haven't ever gotten involved.

Nice video man. Fun to see people’s reactions.

The fact that you call Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin and then have to explain that it’s not actually Bitcoin, makes me facepalm though.

😎.

It's a hard pill to swallow for some veteran Coiners but the public just wants to use something that is fast, cheap, secure and will hopefully be a great store of value over time. It's not possible to tip with Bitcoin Core since fees are too high and the protocol does not scale. Really no Crypto should have anything past a 2 cent transaction fee. Sub penny is ideal for micro payments and all the other store of value cases are built around the ultimate use of the Crypto. Currency usage drives the long term store of value , not store of value drives longterm value. The economics of Bitcoin Core are flawed in a really big way.

Amen brother! Well said and true!
