Tired of paying a high monthly payment for cell phones? Me too!
I learned of a site where you can use BTC to pay for your prepaid cell phone bill. Currently our monthly bill is $70, which adds up quick. Well, using Steemit I was able to convert my SBD/STEEM to BTC via
blocktrades.us, and transfer that BTC to
Bitrefill.com. (
Here is a good tutorial on how to us @blocktrades). You can view all of the supported carriers on the home page. What's even cooler, this service is available to over 100 countries! Lets get to it!
After you complete changing SBD to BTC, go to Bitrefill and put in your phone number.
Select the amount you want to reload on your phone.
Next, it will ask for your email and and to confirm the amount you want to send. Hit "To Payment".
After that, transfer your BTC to the Bitrefill address it generates.
Soon, you will receive an email receipt from Bitrefill.
I even received a text from my cell phone carrier thanking me for my payment!
Is that cool or what?! This is super exciting to see how widely available BTC is being accepted!

I'm not sure about other region but in my region (Malaysia) Bitrefill costs 5-10% more than refilling by cash/credit card/bank transfer
