Is anyone having trouble receiving Bitcoins? I sent some Steem last night to Blocktrades.us and from there it was sent to localbitcoins. The transaction was made by blocktrades, it was sent to localbitcoins.com, but tha satoshis are not there yet.
I have been monitoring localbitcoins since last night and the transaction shows as pending, there have been no confirmations, but at least I know the problem is in the transaction it was sent so that part is OK. It was sent 20 hours ago, is this normal? I have sent satoshis to localbitcoin several times and the longest it has taken has been one hour at the most.
Frankly I am not too worried as the amount is not so large, but I would like to know if this is normal or maybe I should just think the satoshis were lost on their way.
mempool is almost at 300,000 transactions. That means that you're waiting in a HUGE line. Furthermore even if you selected a high miner fee to get your transaction through quickly there is a chance that by now its been outbid. If you're smart you'll get out of bitcoin asap and into something you can actually use. Personally I suggest bitcoin cash. 1Q4zmxyPYUPJ8jTgAfewRoucGS9cUEYbgZ
OK, that makes sense, as for moving to another coin, I live in Honduras, changing Bitcoin to our local currency is difficult enough, I believe any other alt coin would just be so much more of a problem.
