And you're so right, they don't want regulations to 'help ppl out'... governments always acting like they're looking out for you but more rules and regulations aren't going to help the average Joe... like Ayn Rand said, governments only have the power to crack down on criminals, and when there's not enough criminals - one makes them...
And do you mean dtube or dlive? I've never tried livestreaming but dtube seems to (mostly) work for me... surprised to not see you on there?
Yes DTube, is what I meant actually. I've tried over and over and I'm always met with the same error messages. Maybe it's the type of the video file? Or maybe it's the web browser (Brave) I use? Oh well, I will keep trying to figure it out.

Maybe try different browser and then if not, like you said different format? I'm sure it'll eventually work like you said if younpersist. I only tried upload one video tbh but it did work and generally find playing other peoples vids to work... ipfs intrigues me and would love to learn more about it...all exciting stuff and by the way love the vids, I a can see why you love your job ;) I'd say I'm jealous but the only thing stopping me is me, so I'll just say keep up the good work! ✌️😘
Hey there! I had the same problem with DTube when i first tried. What does the error message say? I use Firefox and mp4's now. I'm not sure which one made the difference. Clay Albright

Your point about he didn't want to talk about Ripple or any other cryptos and to simply reference his previous answer means, he doesn't have a good explanation why something isn't a security, but he wants to force them not to be a security because he is a puppet!
Coinbase is seeking the approval to list ERC-20 tokens soon that will be registered as securities as of 2 days ago. Based on the video you watched, I don't know if that will be good news! I wonder if he maybe just hates Bitcoin and the major cryptos. Maybe cryptos like EOS or Golem he will approve of!

Great video @heiditravels. You're exactly right...the government is a hammer and they see everything as a nail. They want to regulate crypto so they can control it. People are perfectly capable of making their own decisions. We don't need the govt to tell us what's safe of not. If they would just leave us the hell alone, we'd be just fine. Resteemed.

The SEC seriously needs to be dissolved. It did have its purpose at one time but it has turned into nothing other then a entity that goes around shuts down websites, cryptocurrency and more that are working perfectly as they should be and fully disclosed. Then you as an investor or whatever start making some good returns and what happens?
The SEC steps in says its a scam, locks up all the money, goes into multi year lawsuits and so called "receivers" and guess what all your money is now in the government and lawyers hands (of which are SEC lawyers) and your out on your ass with nothing to show for it once the lawsuit is over.
It is a total money cycle for the USA anymore and does nothing to build confidence its total BS anymore if you ask me.
Listening to that interview is like listening to the "old centralized" world telling you "I am the one knowing and you have to follow my rules". It gave me the impression he didn't want to get into details not to get caught into mistakes as he is probably not a great blockchain tech expert.
Luckily, this is one of the "old" institutions which will end up disappearing as blockchain technology evolves, you can not treat the audience as if they are little kids and you are the adult they have to listen to because they will end up working around the rules if they feel the rules are useless. Just the same way you can go into an ICO from the US if you just hook into the corresponding webpage using TOR.
Anytime someone claims they're trying to protect me from myself, I know they're trying to prey on me.
That's how cryptopredators roll.
It's a simple gauge of malign intent, and never fails. Even if a supporter of such efforts is simply deluded by their bs, and aren't capable of formulating such schemes themselves, I know the effect on me will be harm, and can take suitable action to insulate myself.
