@hilarski, I just posted something related tonight. It is a tim ferriss podcast with Nick Szabo, did a quick review of it and posted the show link. Treasure trove of good info, learned alot about crypto!

It's a new world we live in, a highly progressive and technological world that we've only begun to tap into....can't wait to see what the future holds!! Thank you @hilarski!

Always bustin out that great content 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Wow....just wow. Thanks for sharing this video. I've been learning about cryptos/blockchain technology for a little while now but I don't think I've heard it described as eloquently before in the context of what some of humanitiy's greatest current struggles are and the true potential of this amazing technology. One thing that really hit me was when he said that we have wealth creation but we have growing social inequality and that this is one of the drivers of many of the problems we have with extremism, etc. today.

Also the idea of the block chain as an internet of value where even songs and other forms of art can be placed on the blockchain and artists will then be able to 'make it rain on the blockchain'.

There's really so much to process from that video that I'm sure I didn't even take it all in. That would be a great vid to show someone who still has no understanding of what a blockchain is or what it can do. Awesome!

I' m up for the change. Great video.

fantastic video. I'm still nervous about hacking in the future, but I'm firmly onboard the blockchain train. d-(^_^)-b

Awesome video @hilarski, do you think the powers that be will somehow hijack this technology in some way?

Its a digital revolution of value. We entering the age of financial enlightenment.

Love Don's book - although his TedTalk is basically a very nice summary.

I'm curious what his thoughts are on the increase in transaction fees in the new internet of value.

Do you think the increase in transaction fees is here to stay? Given the open source aspects of cryptocurrency and the tendency of the Internet to disintermediate everything (grocery stores seem to be next), transaction fees will go down. Very much down.

It'll come down to supply and demand. There is an increasing demand on the network. To match, we would need a lot more miners on the network and in more pools to increase competition and allow lower transaction fees and lower transactions times to be viable on the network.

Within ETH, there will always be gas costs, but those could be minimized using tokens or something off-chain - i.e. the Raiden network.

Thanks for the video I always like learning more

That makes me wonder what would be the third generation. Something involving AI perhaps?

I don't battle the Mugs anymore...

Internet of value
Ok, I have been blown away by this realization. I was looking for a way to define what we are experiencing. Nice!

@hilarski this is going good!

More people are coming into crypto-world.
Still, they need to research for some time to understand the quick-comlex-structure of Steemit.

Meanwhile, I shared a Hilarious Interview Where Isaac Asimov Predicted These Things, in around 1875, that turned into reality, in the 20s.

Please, check it out and share your thoughts.
