Litecoin at least can be considered a real world test for bitcoin, segwit and lightning working on litecoin is bullish for bitcoin...at least that plays a role. Bcash has a manufactured buying pressure due to bitmain only accepting bcash, plus the same people who believe the earth is flat also flock to bcash with their outlandish conspiracy like the Bilderberg group leader being behind blockstream and somehow that means he controls the open source code (makes no sense lol) and how apparently the most humble and very spoken man, Andreas Antonopoulos, is now apparently a paid shill lol
Litecoin was a good effort to carry on the work of Bitcoin and implement it in a way that could remain "Democratic". LTC is easier to mine than ETH even for normal people. BTC was immediately controlled by the very same people with deep pockets who already own everything. LTC is a step out of that and has a use still as a simple transactional ledger.

A few days ago I dumped my last BCH that I got during the fork and bought LTC, XMR and BTC with it. The only value that BCH has is the possibility for another pump and dump. LTC is twice more used, faster and has a way longer track market and better tech. The supply of LTC is 4 times bigger than the supply of BCH, so with the same supply as BCH one LTC should be 900 USD. BCH is more expensive while less used and useful!
BCH should die the hell out. LTC would deserve to be the third biggest cryptocurrency (because Ripple is a piece of shit, as well)

I think that this year the Alts are going to have to put up or shut up! Demonstrate use case plus superior functionality or start sliding.

I've been around enough to know when an article talks about a flippening and everyone is on board it is time to go with the underdog coin. BCH always finds a way to rocket up when I think it is dead. I may move some of my stronger coins in BCH in hopes for another rally when bitcoin rallies.
I hope the price get to $2000 during this year so that I can get some good profits with my 18 LTC held

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but aren't Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash essentially the same thing? I don't own either, but I would definitely prefer to have Litecoin if I had to choose between the two. BCH has too much controversy and negativity surrounding it. Litecoin has Charlie Lee, nuff said.
Litecoin is the fastest of them all. If I have to pick one to use it's always LTC.
If BCH keeps declining and LTC rises I could see it. However I think we might see two new coins moving into the number 3 and 4 spot for total market cap.
How about Ripple? I have some Ripple. :)

He is not talking about prices, he is talking about Market cap of both of the coins, this "prediction" is very likely to happen considering what is going on right now in the crypto world. This means LTC will double market cap, or BCH will drop big time, with that information we can expect LTC to reach $400+ easily until the end of the year.
I think LTC has more potential! The price is currently even higher at BCH, but not the value!
I remember reading Charlie Lee had sold all of his LTC. Weird thing to do if he think LTC is going up don't you think?

Charlie Lee sold his LTC as there is a "conflict of interest" with him holding litecoin , like he is manipulating the market kind of stuff ! He did that to end such kind of rumours!
Just look at Ripple to compare.. How much of it the founder owns? Hmmm....
Basically, he knows litecoin is only going to increase in value. How would it look if he held a large portion and kept speaking so positively about it? People would assume he's lining his pockets. His move was very healthy for the currency.
Well, with BCH having no real uses (at least as far as I'm aware of) except for speculation and cheap transactions I'm honestly surprised it's held out as long as it has.
Honestly, I would not be surprised at all if Litecoin continued it's climb and BCH faded into the background.
Even if the market cap of Litecoin increases to that of Bitcoin Cash 's current market cap, the price of Litcoin will be only around the $350 to $370 considering more LTC mined to achieve that feet.

LTC profited from the hardfork rumours massively, though still it remains unclear if this has generated a legit coin. Miners seem to already work with it even though Charlie said it was scam.
LiteCash gives additional fantasy to the coin which I trust will drive it up further once it gets accepted.
BTC was the unliked child all the time, it is being accepted more an more. Not sure it will pass ripple one day, XRP though got some more potential since latest news were not yet priced into the token from my perspective.
It would have to surpassing it BTC wise surely otherwise how else would it surpass BCH?
I think BCH boom when Bitcoin/this market has done recovering so I wouldn't make the mistake it seems we're incapable of not making over and over again, that of thinking that stuff that is going down is going down because it's going to keep going. There's too much big money involved with BCH for it to do so badly so I have to disagree with this assessment. The only way I see it happening realistically is if there's some major advance or development with Litecoin, but it can't just be something like Amazon accepting it because chances are they'd also accept Bitcoin Cash among others as well. Never say never in crypto though.
I wish it did. Litecoin has been here for a long time and has a solid track and a good team behind it. Heck even just the fact that Bitcoin Cash is constantly trying to present itself as if it were almost Bitcoin itself is a reason why LTC deserves the higher ranking spot more than BCH. Almost all currencies that try to gain recognition for having a different currency in their name are shady.
I'm hearing BTC $100,000 by year's end... LTC at $20,000 either 4:1 or 5:1 when all is said and done. Anyway I plan on having 10 LTC by Summer.

I had set my Genesis btc mining contract to pay out in litecoin for the last six months or so and am hoping for a moonshot for litecoin. Maybe Deutsche bank will have to fail first. Also like to stare at my gold & silver stash when crypto has a pullback. Makes me feel good!
