Depends on the extent of the war, if it's small and localized, Crypto, since the Internet was invented to survive precisely this and would continue to function everywhere else. if it's big (nuclear winter wide) Gold would probably be more valuable but would only keep you alive for a few more months, you'll still starve anyways eventually.
