Bitcoin expert, Andreas Antonopoulos recently came out with a new video in which he explains that he doesn't buy Bitcoin, he earns Bitcoin.

This got me thinking quite deeply on the whole idea of work, jobs, money and the future. We are programmed to think, "I need to get a job", which basically means, I need to find a job where someone will pay me US dollars. Andreas' video, shown below, shook up my mind and made me realize that it is possible to work for Bitcoin, Steem and other currencies. In fact the whole reason I know about Bitcoin is because of Steem. I think our ideas about work truly need to shift, and I recognize in myself that there is a lot of fear and resistance around this concept. We as humans are conditioned to be afraid of the unknown.

Here's his video:

When we think a little more deeply about what Andreas said, we begin to understand that we have the option to enter a new world today, one that will become more mainstream in the future.

If you think about your own energy, talents and skills as raw energy, able to move in any direction, you'll realize you can decide to earn Bitcoin, Steem, etc. Why not take advantage of one of the most energizing movements in the world before it gets over-popularized and mainstreamed? Opportunities that have huge growth potential usually are not available to the common person. In the digital currency world, there are massive opportunities and it begins with trading your energy for digital currency. (I'm not a fan of using the word, cryptocurrency, as I feel it scares away most regular folks.)

I did some research and found some sites where you can earn Bitcoin because I was thinking it would be smart to diversify my income a little. Of course, the recent spike in Bitcoin's price fueled this new idea. Also, getting a Trezor really made a difference in thinking as well. You can read my review of the Bitcoin hardware wallet Trezor here.

Here's a list of sites that pay in Bitcoin:

I used Supload but couldn't figure out how to have it display images on Steemit. I know there's a workaround, but the workaround requires people to click on the link to get paid. If anyone has a concrete solution to using Supload on Steemit, let us know.

SUPLOAD https://supload.com/ where you can upload your images and earn based on how many people view your images.

And Amanda Johnson recommends the following sites:

XBTFreelancer https://www.xbtfreelancer.com/ I checked out this site and learned about one person who used it. There are escrows built in to make sure you don't get scammed.

Cryptogrind https://www.cryptogrind.com/ Bitcoin freelance site.

Jobs4Bitcoins https://www.reddit.com/r/Jobs4Bitcoins/ This is a subreddit.

Amanda has written an article giving you the scoop on these 3 sites: https://news.bitcoin.com/3-websites-bitcoin-paying-freelance-jobs/

It would be ideal, in the future to have a list of Steemian employers who pay in Steem. If anyone has any info on this, please comment below.

If you've used any of these sites, please comment below to tell about your experience.
On a side note, the photo of Andreas is from a Bitcoin Betting site. Maybe Steemit betting people can use it as a model for a Steem-based betting site: https://www.betmoose.com/

sweet I want to earn in BTC too..

I think we all do.

It's very interesting post!
The btc is the future :)
Great job!!

I've lost much respect for Andreas after he unfollowed me on Twitter for reminding him that Joe Rogan is a disinfo shill. He also gives zero shits about STEEM/Steemit.

Hey give me the info. Why is Rogan a shill?

He was ousted by whistleblower Donald Marshall. The following website archives all of Donald's FB convo and here's the part about Joe Rogan:

http://astral7ight.blogspot.com/p/joe-rogan.html

I've been researching Donald for about a year and talk to him directly at times. I have no reason to doubt these claims.

Thank you. I'll Look at it.

I know, but he's a Bitcoin worshipper. The world will not bend to our wishes. Andreas is my new teacher about Bitcoin, so that is all I expect of him. He seems a bit rigid in several ways, so that's maybe why he unfollowed you.

I got a couple of jobs this way. Surprisingly where two of the best clients I ever had.

which sites did you use or was it a personal referral?

personal referral from the old days of bitcoin. 2011-2012. I did one logo for 50 Btc back then. Who knew :)

holy crap. Just think if you would have held onto it.........

I cashed out once close to $520. Made a pretty good profit. Only have a few nowdays. Never expected it would hit this high.

the experts say it will continue going up, especially as the supply gets smaller....I am guessing that in ten years it will be a very different scene.

Hi,
if somebody views your pictures at Supload alone doesn´t earn you Bitcoins, only referring to the Supload.com site, like in this example.

Please correct me if I am wrong. https://supload.com/H1yqyNeIe

I find it interesting that we are on a site where we can earn money by posting and commenting, but are not allowed to put a referral link. In the future, I will do my best to follow the steemit community rules. Would you please put the link for me where I can find those rules? Thank you.
