Greetings mate! How I am happy to see this initiative back again!
My comments for steemit : When someone new starts here on the platform, it will not be such an easy thing as they must have heard! Courage, patience and consistency is very much needed if they wish to succeed!
My first weeks here was very difficult, but I am so happy that I kept going leaving all negativity aside and build a name slowly by slowly!
Steemians like you have been of great help in making me motivated and I know you will always keep on supporting and encouraging all newbies coming here as you are AWESOME!
Steemit is surely the No. 1 decentralized social media platform it's so unique and innovative and gives us a great opportunity to blog and they always try to improve it in a way that benefits the whole steemit community, the next big move from them is SMT's and those SMT's will surely gives steemit more heights and growth. i love steemit and steem blockchain and i must say that east or west steemit is simply the best, it is amazing platform with peoples from all around the globe share their stories and information with each other through blogging and it help us to remove our flaws and also help us to improve our lifestyle and knowledge.
I'm on Steemit relatively recently and have largely not figured it out yet and I'm still learning (thanks to those who write posts that teach work for Steemitt, but I can say with confidence that I like it here, this platform is not like the others I've met. Steemith has a great future.

Now steem value rising!
Just before leaving for work checking if there is some nice news in town. This is a good start of the day. Let's do the whole "package"; upvote and resteem (followed you already).
Was really pissed off last couple of weeks every time Steemit was bugging all te the time. Troubles with voting, posting etc. glad that is all behind.
The only thing now is the price of Steem going up. Just checked that as well and saw it's move upwards ... hopefull.

We all count how many users have on Steemit. First, to see who are the users, this is crucial for steem growth. The number of users who are active means that the number of people who want to earn money. We are talking about applications, technology and blockchain, revolution. The value depends on several factors, the first is how many people believe in Steem, the other is the usable value (what can I buy for a Steem, where I can use it), the third is the technological part, what kind of significance and revolution does Steem technology bring to us ?
The only revolution I see at this moment is a blend of social networking and currency. Since I saw a lot of mlm systems working with currencies, my layman's conclusion is that there must be strong marketing support on the stock exchange itself, it must also connect the currencies with other companies. Here, to ask people what the crypt does, they do not know how to answer correctly, simply Steemit marketing brings people who want to make money, in my opinion it's not enough. We see that Steem and SBD stagnate in place while other currencies grow. Bitcoin is the first, its technology is obsolete in the field of mining, and as the development of the blockchain technology itself, and again it is strongest.
The real question is how many people in the world want to buy Steem and SBD, how to increase this number? The development of technology itself is not enough. The best-selling currency is not the one that is technically the best, but the one that has the best story and marketing. It's time for Steem to do real marketing in the world.
Steemit works on the principle of carrots and rods. In order to have greater voting power, you invest everything you earn. Somebody invests his money in order to gain stronger voting power. It's all great strategy, but a large number of people do not have the money to invest, they have to go a slower way, one by one cent. I believe that more creative solutions will come, and Steem will start to grow .
What is your opinion?
I think you are correct in believing that Steemit has lost some of its momentum, but that perception my be highly influenced by the stagnant price rather than the many innovations taking place within Steemit right now.
If anyone ask what Steemit and the Steem token are about, I simply tell them the it is a social media site with its own type of Bitcoin (crypto-currency for those than are more advanced), and they pay you with the internal bitcoin type crypto-currency called Steem. I don't really get into the entire blockchain thing until the are further along.
I am hoping that Steemit will figure out how to increase the user base and/or monetize the steemit.com website, thereby bringing more value to the steem token. And yes, many will have to start small and work their way in to more payouts. It does take time.

Steemit is a social network that looks and functions a lot like Reddit, but with one HUGE difference, Steemit pays both the content creators when their work gets upvoted, as well as the people who curate the best content on the site by upvoting others work. i like steemit and want's to remain a part of it.

Thank you for this, I like the idea of it being a community and how more interaction means you will create more awareness. It doesn't seem to be based on algorithms which really play a part.

STEEMIT world is wonderful, anything can happen here.
It's a pity that old posts can't be resteemed and upvoted on Steemit, because sometimes I find very good posts that are too old for anything - or at least I don't know what could be don with them, and some of those very old posts didn't earn much and the authors obviously gave up.
I can feel the love in here. It can get lonly sometimes here on steemit. Thankyou for the support. This time next year this whole game going to be different. And us minnows on the ground floor are going to be so proud of all of this..
