It was simply foolish to believe that BTC was going away because China was going after the exchanges. This provided a buying opportunity which I am glad I was able to take advantage of. BTC is going to go up a lot higher from here. It simply is getting on the radar of too many people.
The fact that BTC is getting a wide lead in searches than LTC and ETH isnt surprising. People are headline readers. Ask the average person if they heard of bitcoin and, if they are one of the few who says yes, ask them to name one altcoin. They wont know one (wont know what an altcoin is either).
And this is why I believe BTC will always be the gold of digital currencies...it has the name recognition and people know it. There is no reason to switch from that standard.
