My advice to you is not to try and force anybody to follow your directive about Steemit.
They will feel you are trying to slow them down, just let them experience what Steemit is for themselves, that is when they know that they actually need to heed the advice of the people here before them.
I just hope that you friend realizes his mistake earlier.
