Hello @ogochukwu!! Thank you for the article! Commenting the right way is something I may need to work on. Maybe I have it backwards...I always thought tagging the author in my comment would be annoying, especially if the person was really popular and busy. Instead I have tried to connect with people by sharing a link with my comment. For instance the link to my story if they have a similar one, a few times I linked my post of advice for newbies in someone's introduce yourself post. The comments aren't cookie cutter, and I truly want to reach people. When I was new I would've appreciated advice when I first started out instead of having to figure it all out on my own. My latest post could help someone struggling with self worth...Once I held a contest and not many people were biting so I shared it on @papa-pepper's selfie challenge along with my entry for the day (and I did ask him first). Anyway, you get the point... I think there's a difference between truly wanting to reach people with your posts because you care and want to build relationships and just spamming and spreading your most recent post around wherever you go. What do you think?

Hello @snowpea
Tagging is not wrong in my opinion if it used within the persons post. And when it comes to sharing links in the comments section there are exceptions.
There are times it can be done at the request of the Author of the post or you can link someone who asked for that information in the comment section. And like this post there are some posts that I try to get across to people because I know that it will be valuable to them, but I always ask their permission first.
@ogochukwu
I suppose maybe that's something I need to scale back on a bit. Thanks for the advice! :)
