Anyone who have been on this platoform for some months has a high probalability of who @dan is. And if you don't know who he is. This Hackernoon article by @stellabelle would give you a full insight of who Dan is
If you ask me, I will tell you that Dan is someone I respect the most after Sathoshi in this Blockchain space and this is because Of the amazing work he has done with Bitshares and that he is doing with EOS
I am writing this post because I cannot understand the reason for the massive disrespect he has in thuis Blockchain space, there are people who love him of course but there are also people who hate him for reasons I cannot dichper. I am also aware taht no Man is perfect and that everyone has his flaws
But you cannot throw away a baby with the bath water and Dan is no ordinary baby. He is clearly a Man on a mission and he is someone who will be talked about for long
You Can Never Die If People Keep Saying You Name
And the name Dan Larimer is one I know will be Immortalized for good. Some hinge on the fact that Bitshares is not doing as expected, but I believe this is because they have chosen to toe the path of organic growth and while that might be painful for some due to dip loses that does not eradicate how awesome the Bitshares Blockchain is
EOS is another project of Dan that is facing massive FUD. WIth a lot of people calling it a scam despite the obvious level of work Block One is putting into it.
I believe that Dan Larimer is someone who will not stake his reputation on a scam. EOS to me is a project that will stand the test of time, with all Blockchains it will have its own weaknesses but I believe that its strengts will make up fot that
I stand with my belief that @dan is a Man of Integrity and just like Da Vinci, Galiloe and the other greats, he will be long gone before people really grasp the amount of awesome things he gifted us with
Thanks for reading

You left out #Steemit on his list of achievements. I would say do not worry too much of the scam calls in the crypto space I have now come to understand the definition of scam:
This comment is worth its own article.
You nailed it on the head. 👌
@rok-sivante Thanks
Great points @nitego. You know the interesting thing though?
The person who tends to call out "scam" first, is almost always the one who tends to fall for your point #5.
So true
If the Blockchain is a scam then Bitcoin should be the biggest scam. I believe that someone like Dan will not stake his reputation on a project that is not heading anywhere. @nitego
Exactly, envy is real.
Dan is creating blockchain tech that secures life, liberty and freedom for the many. Everyone else is bent on using blockchain tech to enrich the few. Popular opinion always favors the few.
Thats very true @johnsmith.
I believe that most people are fighting him ,because he is not following the norm. But Innovation is very Important in this times.
Dan Larimer is someone I am still trying to figure out. He does these stuffs that leaves the world a tad better. Steemit has been called and is still being called a scam, but here we are.
I think eos as a Blockchain will be great and I look forward to it birth and exploits.
Yes @ejemai
Like I said above, Dan reputation and work is evident with what he did with Steem and Bitshares.
I have high hopes for EOS and the Blockchains it will support.
Tesla hoop is already working on building on EOS.
@ogochukwu
LOL Steemit a scam? how did they figure that out?
Some people here do not like him because I has said in multiple interviews that he is planning on creating a new Steemit One that address all the evil whales that are on here.
EOS is no scam and neither is Dan. Before I ever came on Steemit, I checked it out and when I googled it I read a bunch of stories about what a scam it is- so there you have it. Don't listen to anybody but yourself. I'm doing damned good off of Steemit and EOS both... if they're a scam, then scam me some more!
"Don't listen to anybody but yourself." well stated.
Thanks... I always do my own homework not depend on others!
Lolz @richq11
If Steemit is a scam. The scams should be encouraged
That's what I'm saying! I saw where Tesla Motors is going to be using the EOS blockchain!
Well, what i do not understand about @dan is; why is he moving from project to project?
Who does he have to go wider when he can go deeper?
I have nothing against him, but i think he is already bored with previous projects, and certainly, he would move on to another project after EOS.
Before I get attacked, I hodl reasonable amount of EOS.
EOS is not one application but a blockchain platform on which various applications can be built. With steemit it was just one application on a blockchain. Think of #EOS like #Waves or #Ethereum or #Lisk on which others can build.
Steem is a coin too, not a token remember? @dan will create 20 blockchains before 2020
The key word is Platform EOS is a platform not a coin or token.
Steemit /Steem/SBD are all tied to blogging and it does that well. Could it be better? that is up to you. The point is a purpose built blockchain is harder to adapt to another use case. EOS is starting as a blockchain platform designed to handle any type of use case you would like to apply to it including a blogging platform like steemit or better, exchanges , banks, shops, etc
Cool, do you see this affecting steem on the long run?
The early adopters of Steemit I expect the would be a 50/50 divide. The Whales without noble values but money would prefer Steemit. It's my understanding he was not in favour of using bots to automate votes especially for really sub-standard content.
@autofreak go check out his Youtube for his interview and what i do not understand about @dan is; why is he moving from project to project? will be made very clear. To paraphrase. Bitshare was built as an Exchange and has not needed his attention in a while. Steemit he built and invited the current CEO of Steemit to run. Steemit took a life of its own and resisted some or many changes. As someone who would not force his way on the community he stepped aside. If he was a selfish person we would have had a hardfork and maybe "Steemit Cash" or "Steemit Classic" or another forked related name.
EOS answers this in that it is a platform on which many applications can be created so he can just keep making new systems on it
no Man is perfect and that everyone has his flaws. You said very nice,Completely true.
I am incredibly excited for the main net to drop June 1st! Whoever doesn’t have EOS yet should buy some now because every at $5 its a steal!!
Yes @waphilip. EOS is still very cheap at the moment
Truth is, in life I've come to realize that if you engage in any project and no one talks about it, it means you're certainly doing nothing.
People most at times allow sentiment to eclipse their mind, not because they can't decipher the truth, but because they don't want to attach that truth to a particular person.
EOS from all I've been able to notice, I've already gained foundation in the blockchain, and it's only a matter of time before people start embracing the sparkling project.
I totally agree with@idunique opinion on this matter because if your doing something and no one is talking about it, then you should know that your doing nothing, all these are just trying moments for the guy.For sure, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Even Jesus was never appreciated in his own town despite all the miraculous wonders he did in other places.
I believe intelligence and integrity are few of the condiments you can never take away from an ingenious man. I have lately being seen that name in most articles I read in this platform but little did I know that he was actually the man behind this well publicised EOS. Such ingenuity is really a great accomplishment and deserves an applaud.
What differentiates a rich man and a poor man is Information. The rich in knowledge acquire more and make good out of the Information while the poor only stand to criticize.
Such a man is worth celebrating, one thing in life is certain, you can never be like by all.
I have not really had an encounter with @dan, but one thing I know is that, ingenuity deserves to be appreciated at all times. The beginning is usually rough but the end justifies.
I read about the history of this current steemit and how it started, but look at where it is today.
I always believe in positivity, it is the gear five towards attainment of a a set goal.
Thanks @ogochukwu for the expository, I have learnt More about @dan.
