Tags viewed by curators

There are a lot of tags in the Steem world community with their own rules, where there is a chance for a good vote if you meet the conditions.

Each post you add is visible on the home page in the new tab. The problem is that after a few minutes no one will see it because of the constant flow of huge amount of new content. People who click ''follow'' will see your posts on their ''feed''. And how to attract new followers? You need to know the tags in which you can get good votes. Let's start from the beginning!

#introduceyourself

This is the basic tag that should be presented only once. Littering or regular use of this tag may have consequences. Presenting yourself in this tag should include your photo, your description and what your blog will be about. It's very important to start your adventure with Steem well.

Tags for high-quality content

#steemstem

@steemstem is a scientific community that votes only for posts related to science, technology, mathematics and such topics. You should write a post about a subject that you know very well and are sure of your knowledge. This place on Steem for top quality posts. To get a vote from them, write good, detailed and structured posts with graphics that you can use. Absolutely give all sources of both images and materials used. We must write in one of four languages: English, German, French or Spanish. Use their tag and wait for the curators who view the tag to see our post and vote on it or not.

#ocd-resteem

#curie

Remember to make sure that our post has a really high quality before using the @ocd curator tag. If you spam this tag, you should count serious consequences. The article must have legal graphics and content in English. Similar rules prevail in the tag of @curie curators.

#travelfeed

In addition to the main #travel tag, #travelfeed has been created to better find high-quality posts. Here you can describe the relationships from of all types of trips. The minimum length of the article to be assessed is 250 words. The post should contain original photos.

#photofeed, #photocircle, #phototalent, #photomag

In addition to the #photography main tag, those who create good photos can get good votes in these tags. Of course, posts with just one photo are spam. I recommend adding some photos in one post and write something about them.

Languages tags

If you do not know English well, it's worth starting your adventure with Steem in your own national language. Communities from equal countries follow language tags and by writing in them, you can receive good votes from your countrymen. Here are the most popular languages on Steem outside of English:

Spanish: #spanish, #cervantes, #castellano, #venezuela, #mexico

Very handy to know. I had no clue about these other photo tags and I've been on here almost two years!. Thanks for pointing them out. I'll take a look at them.

You're welcome. I also discover something new in Steem all the time.

Thanks for including #travelfeed! About the photos, although we love them, we don't require original photos, but we require sourcing and respect of copyright when using external media. These are the same rules that bloggers have to respect if they have their own blog and don't want to get sued for copyright violation.

E.g. using a photo from Wikipedia or Pixabay/Unsplash is fine as long as the source is attributed (we also ask for that for CC0 photos, even though there it is not a license requirement), but pasting the first result from Google images, probably violating the copyright of the photographer, is not. The same goes for any kind of external media or text.

All posts in #travelfeed are also included in the TravelFeed dApp where even old posts can be discovered by a large audience of travellers, another reason to post high-quality travel content in #travelfeed :)

Thank you so much for mentioning TravelFeed!

You're welcome. I am happy to support any positive initiatives on steem :)

I found a lot of usefulness in your publication, even though I have been on the platform for 1 year, sometimes I doubt what tags to use or if I should continue using the same for all my music publications. Thank you!

This will help a lot. I never knew of these tags much

Thank you for the tips!

I think many polish people also use #pl.
